FAQs & Return Policy
What is your return policy?
We’re confident in our Sleep Consultants' abilities to match you with the perfect mattress for your body type and budget. But if you find your purchase isn't the mattress of your dreams, we've got your back. It generally takes 8 - 10 weeks to properly break in a new mattress. Much like a new pair of shoes, it also takes time for your body to adjust to a new sleep surface, especially if your old one was out of shape. Once your new mattress is delivered, our 120-Night Sleep Trial comfort guarantee requires you to sleep on it for 30 days. If you are not completely satisfied, you have an additional 90 days to come back into any Sit 'n Sleep location and select another mattress of equal or greater value with a 20% restocking fee not to exceed $500.00. The 120-Night Sleep Trial does not apply to closeouts, floor samples or if your product is found to be dirty, stained or abused. Returns for non-mattress products: All products that Sit 'n Sleep sells have a manufacturer’s warranty. The length and the terms of these warranties vary by manufacturer and type of product. During the warranty period, Sit ‘n Sleep will work with the customer to receive a replacement product if there is a manufacturing defect. If the product is found to be unreasonably unsanitary, or abused by the customer, the product could have its warranty voided. Sit ‘n Sleep will offer a refund provided the product is brand new and still in original manufacturer packaging. If the product is not in this condition, Sit ‘n Sleep will work with the customer to receive a warranty replacement or repair, depending on the product in question.
Will you really "beat anyone's advertised price or your mattress is freee?"
At Sit 'n Sleep we're famous for our tagline, "We'll beat anyone's advertised price or your mattress is freeee," and we have been backing this statement up since 1978. (Because our pricing is so low, we fortunately don't have to do it too often). Keep reading to learn more about our price guarantee below. At time of purchase and for 30 days thereafter, if customer provides proof, Sit 'n Sleep will beat pricing for any mattress advertised via radio, TV, newspaper or internet, provided mattress is from the current model year and the same manufacturer's model is currently offered for sale at Sit 'n Sleep. Price guarantee must include all tax, delivery, and installation/removal costs. Discontinued, irregulars, blemished, pre-owned, floor sample, and damaged mattresses are not eligible for this promotion. Also, to qualify, product must be from an authorized, licensed dealer and carry a full manufacturer's warranty. Guarantee valid only for mattresses sold in the Southern California trading area. Our deals are always amazing, but if you find one that's better, we want to hear about it and have the opportunity to earn your business!

Do I need to buy a new box spring when buying a new mattress?
The box spring acts as the foundation of the bed. It provides support for the mattress by acting as a shock absorber. These two pieces were designed to complement each other when working together as a set. Although there are several types of platform beds that do not use a box spring, pairing your new mattress with an old box spring is not recommended and in some cases could void a mattress warranty.
Do I need special sheets for my new mattress?
You will need special sheets if you are purchasing a very thick mattress with a thick pillow top. Sit ‘n Sleep offers a selection of high profile or deep pocket sheets that fit very well on these thicker mattresses. When selecting sheets, it is also important to keep in mind that your sheets are part of your sleep environment, therefore comfort, thickness and softness should be considered when making your sheet selection.
