TEMPUR-Contour Side-To-Back Pillow is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 65.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Apparently I paid for the brand name I buy pillows from low end stores anout every 6 months. I wanted to start getting better pillows so I bought 2 pillows from a well known high end store 2 weeks ago. Tried the pillow on a mattress before purchase. It was fluffy and firmish, the way I like it; Despite the very high price, I was sold. First 2 nights was a little more fluffy than I cared for but I figured of course that it needed to be broken in. It became great for like another 6-7 days. It took about 12 days before these pillows felt as if I've owned then for months. It didnt take long to become limp and lumpy. I feel ripped off. Not too happy. Not worth the cost in my opinion.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from So Close to being a great pillow This could be my dream pillow if it was slightly softer. The high setting is exactly the right height for sleeping on my side and keeping my head elevated so that my shoulder does not dig down in to my awesomely firm Tempurpeic grand bed mattress. The low setting was too high for sleeping on my back so I carved out about an inch and now it is also perfect but a little jagged from the carving. The spacing is also perfect for tossing and turning back and forth between the high and low parts of the pillow. Because everyone is different, what really needs to be done with these pillows is to have a way to adjust firmness and height of each section and then everone would have one! I think this would be possible by using different characteristic memory foam in layers that could be swapped in position or removed entirely. Prior to buying this pillow, I used 2 pillows and always woke up with neck pain because my head was propped up too high causing the discs in my upper back to compress. Now it is much better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for Side to Back Sleepers I made the splurge and began using Termpurpedic back pillows 7 years ago, because I value a good night's rest. However, I found the contours for the back pillows to be too high when I tried to sleep on my side. The contours for the side-back pillow are a perfect hybrid - there's a slightly lower middle section for you to nestle your head when you sleep on your side. There was only 1 review for this pillow when I purchased, so I knew I was taking a risk given their no returns policy. It's well worth it. I've slept soundly since it arrived 3 days ago!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect pillow I don't like soft pillows as I always end up with a neck pain when using them. I love the firmness of the sides, they give my neck the right amount of support without being painful. The center is perfect for the few minutes/hours I sleep on my back during the night. I don't feel like other reviewers the sides are too hard but if you are looking for a really soft pillow, don't buy it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not for us Bought this for my husband after he tried it in a store (it was the "demo" so had softened up) and he didn't like the new one because it was hard and forced his head into the groove & if you want to move to your side, you have to move the pillow as well... I tried to use it one night and didn't like it either. It sits on the floor in our room...with another rejected tempur pedic pillow. His old iComfort pillow is back in play. $250 later... I gave it 3 starts for quality of the materials. And in all honesty, we know we didn't give it a fair try, but only because it was so uncomfortable...we didn't want to go through "breaking it in". Rated 1 out of 5 by from Sides are too hard The center of this pillow, for sleeping on your back, is really comfortable. However, when you try to sleep on the edges on your side, it is VERY hard. I have the regular side sleeper as well, and I was told by the salesperson that the sides of the "side-back-side" pillow would feel the same as the middle of the side-sleeper. Boy were they wrong, the sides are like a rock. Since I only spend about 30% of the night on my back, this pillow is completely unusable for me. What a waste of money.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pillow is great, seams in the cover are annoying I start out on my back, and I love the neck support and the fact that my spine and neck are kept in alignment. I don't have any more neck-aches from a pillow that is too thick. I also love the way my head is nestled, and I can turn my head a bit to the side and still be genltly supported. Sleeping on my side is also good - my shoulders aren't crunched, and my spine-neck stays aligned. I found the seams on the pillow cover to be annoying. On one side of the pillow cover, the seams are thick along the sides of my head, so I turned the cover over to move the seams to the bottom of the pillow. Now there's a thick seam along my neck. Yuck. I ended up removing the cover and replacing it with a plain pillow protector.
